Lasers

Explore our industry leading lasers and learn more about how they work and what they target on the skin.

HALO

This laser is the most popular hybrid laser indicated for all skin types. HALO combines both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to offer remarkable results. Results include a dramatic reduction in sunspots, fine lines, wrinkles, skin dullness, and more. When included as part of a patient’s long-term skin maintenance plan, HALO improves skin texture and clarity for all skin types and may delay or eliminate the need for surgical procedures in the future.

Broad Band Light (BBL)

A type of laser used to enhance and brighten your complexion and stimulate your body’s production of collagen. It is also known as a photofacial, because it delivers broad-spectrum visible and infrared light energy into the skin. BBL is used to treat skin conditions such as hyperpigmentation (sun damage) rosacea, acne, spider veins, and fine lines. BBL therapy can target the face, neck, chest, arms, legs, and hands.

COOL PEEL

A non-ablative laser that creates tiny openings in the skin which promote a natural healing response, stimulating collagen and restoring the skin’s surface. The CoolPeel laser works by delivering pulses of light without the intense heat that is typically associated with CO2 lasers. CoolPeel is popular due to its impressive results and ability to accomplish results similar to ablative lasers. Within just a few days, patients report that their skin is tighter, softer, and has a more even tone.

Aesthetic Devices

Preveda offers a variety of non-laser devices to help improve skin texture and health.

SKINPEN MICRONEEDLING

This device allows for the controlled induction of your skin’s own natural healing process. This occurs though the creation of thousands of precise “micro-injuries” to the dermal layer of the skin. It is a medical grade, FDA approved device used to improve the appearance of fine lines, moderate to severe wrinkles, skin texture, and scars.

Diamond Tome Facial

A form of microdermabrasion, a non-invasive exfoliation procedure that helps improve the texture and appearance of the skin.

STIMULATOR PEEL

Categorized as a superficial peel, meaning it only focuses on the gentle exfoliation of the top layer of skin. It is ideal for skin that feels rough, looks dull, and helps soften the appearance of sun-damaged skin. The ZO Stimulator Peel is also known as the “lunchtime peel” because it has no downtime, but still effectively exfoliates the skin and promotes cell turnover.

VIRTUE RF

Virtue RF treatment is a cutting-edge cosmetic procedure that combines radiofrequency (RF) technology with microneedling to address various skin concerns and promote skin rejuvenation.

VI PEEL

This treatment is an effective, medical-grade chemical peel designed to improve the tone, texture, and clarity of the skin through the treatment of acne, acne scarring, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and overall skin health. VI Peel offers three different strengths of peels that are painless and applied in layers during your treatment time. This treatment works well in conjunction with neuromodulators and certain lasers, and can be done on the same day.

Medical Grade Skin Care

MEDICAL GRADE SKIN CARE

WHAT IS BBL Laser?

BBL (BroadBand Light) laser treatment, also known as IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) therapy, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure used to address a variety of skin concerns. It utilizes high-intensity light energy to target specific areas of the skin, promoting skin rejuvenation and improving its overall appearance.

During a BBL treatment, a handheld device emits short pulses of light that penetrate the skin's outer layers. The light energy is absorbed by specific target areas, such as age spots, sunspots, freckles, vascular lesions, acne. This absorption of light energy stimulates the production of collagen, which helps to improve skin texture, reduce pigmentation irregularities, and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

BBL laser treatment is highly customizable, allowing healthcare professionals to adjust the wavelength, energy level, and pulse duration to suit individual skin concerns and desired outcomes. It is a versatile procedure that can be performed on various parts of the body, including the face, neck, chest, hands, and back.

The benefits of BBL laser treatment include improved skin tone and texture, reduction of age spots and sun damage, minimization of fine lines and wrinkles, and overall skin rejuvenation. The procedure is generally well-tolerated, with minimal discomfort and downtime. However, multiple sessions may be required to achieve optimal results, depending on the specific skin condition being treated.

It is important to consult with a qualified healthcare professional or dermatologist to determine if BBL laser treatment is suitable for your individual skin concerns and to ensure safe and effective treatment.

WHAT IS COOL PEEL Laser?

Cool Peel is not specifically known as a laser treatment; it is a type of chemical peel. A chemical peel is a procedure that involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which causes controlled exfoliation and regeneration.

In the case of Cool Peel, it is a relatively gentle and innovative form of chemical peel that utilizes a low-strength lactic acid solution. Unlike traditional chemical peels, which may cause significant downtime and discomfort, Cool Peel is designed to provide a more comfortable experience with minimal downtime.

Cool Peel works by removing the outermost layers of dead skin cells, stimulating collagen production, and improving overall skin texture and tone. It can effectively address various skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and acne scars. Additionally, it can help to refine pores, reduce the appearance of sun damage, and promote a smoother, more radiant complexion.

The "cool" aspect of Cool Peel refers to the cooling effect provided during the procedure to enhance comfort and minimize any potential discomfort. This makes it a suitable option for individuals with sensitive skin or those who prefer a milder approach to skin rejuvenation.

It is important to note that Cool Peel should be performed by a trained skincare professional who can assess your skin condition and customize the treatment according to your specific needs. They will guide you through the procedure and provide post-treatment care instructions to ensure optimal results.

WHAT IS HALO Laser?

Halo is a laser treatment that is designed to rejuvenate the skin and address various skin concerns. It is a hybrid fractional laser, which means it combines both ablative and non-ablative laser technologies in a single device.

The Halo laser treatment works by creating microscopic channels in the skin, stimulating the body's natural healing response and promoting the production of collagen and elastin. This helps to improve skin tone and texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and diminish sun damage, age spots, and acne scars.

One of the key benefits of Halo is its customizable nature. The treatment can be adjusted to target specific skin concerns and deliver different levels of intensity based on individual needs. This allows for a tailored approach, ensuring optimal results for each patient.

Halo laser treatments typically have minimal downtime compared to traditional ablative lasers. The procedure is generally well-tolerated, and most individuals can resume their daily activities shortly after treatment, although some redness and swelling may occur temporarily.

It is important to consult with a qualified dermatologist or skincare professional to determine if Halo laser treatment is suitable for your specific skin concerns and to receive personalized recommendations for achieving your desired results.

WHAT IS SKINPEN Aesthetics?

SkinPen Aesthetics is a popular skin rejuvenation treatment that utilizes a medical-grade microneedling device called the SkinPen. It is a non-surgical procedure designed to improve the overall appearance and texture of the skin.

During a SkinPen Aesthetics treatment, the SkinPen device is gently passed over the skin, creating numerous microscopic punctures. These tiny punctures stimulate the skin's natural healing response, triggering the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that contribute to the skin's elasticity, firmness, and overall youthfulness. By promoting the production of these proteins, SkinPen Aesthetics helps to rejuvenate the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin texture.

One of the significant advantages of SkinPen Aesthetics is its versatility. It can be used on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, and hands, making it suitable for addressing multiple skin concerns. The treatment is customizable, allowing the depth and intensity of the microneedling to be adjusted according to the individual's specific needs.

SkinPen Aesthetics is considered a minimally invasive procedure, and the downtime associated with it is generally minimal. Some individuals may experience redness, mild swelling, or slight peeling immediately after the treatment, but these effects typically subside within a few days. Multiple sessions are often recommended to achieve optimal results, and the exact number of treatments may vary depending on the individual's skin condition and goals.

It is important to consult with a qualified skincare professional or dermatologist to determine if SkinPen Aesthetics is suitable for your skin type and to ensure safe and effective treatment.

WHAT IS SKINPEN MICRONEEDLING ?

SkinPen microneedling is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure designed to improve the appearance of the skin. It involves the use of a handheld device called the SkinPen, which consists of fine needles that create tiny punctures in the skin. The process stimulates the skin's natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production.

During the treatment, the SkinPen is gently moved over the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries. These micro-injuries trigger the skin's healing process, leading to the production of new collagen and elastin fibers. The procedure helps to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation, and enhance overall skin tone and elasticity.

Microneedling with the SkinPen is a versatile treatment that can be performed on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. It is suitable for individuals with different skin types and can be customized to address specific skin concerns.

The benefits of SkinPen microneedling include minimal downtime, as the tiny punctures created by the device heal relatively quickly. Most individuals experience mild redness and sensitivity immediately after the treatment, which typically subsides within a day or two. Over time, as collagen and elastin production increases, the skin becomes firmer, smoother, and more youthful in appearance.

It is essential to have SkinPen microneedling performed by a trained and licensed skincare professional who can ensure safe and effective treatment, as well as provide appropriate post-treatment care and recommendations for optimal results.

WHAT IS Diamondtome ?

Diamondtome is a skin treatment technique that utilizes a device called the Diamondtome wand. It is a form of microdermabrasion, a non-invasive exfoliation procedure that helps improve the texture and appearance of the skin.

The Diamondtome wand features a diamond-tipped wand that gently exfoliates the outermost layer of the skin, removing dead skin cells, dirt, and debris. The diamond tip is available in different sizes and coarseness levels to customize the treatment according to the individual's skin type and concerns.

During the Diamondtome treatment, the wand is passed over the skin in a controlled manner, creating a gentle suction that lifts away the exfoliated skin particles. This process helps stimulate collagen production, promoting skin renewal and improving the overall texture, tone, and clarity of the skin.

Diamondtome treatments are known for being relatively comfortable and require minimal downtime. They can be used to address various skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin tone, sun damage, and enlarged pores. However, it is important to consult with a skincare professional to determine if Diamondtome is suitable for your specific skin condition and to receive personalized treatment recommendations.

WHAT IS STIMULATOR PEEL?

The Stimulator Peel, also known as the "Lunchtime Peel," is a popular non-invasive cosmetic treatment designed to rejuvenate the skin's appearance quickly and with minimal downtime. It is a gentle chemical peel that targets the outermost layer of the skin to improve its texture, tone, and overall radiance.

The primary purpose of the Stimulator Peel is to exfoliate the skin and stimulate collagen production, resulting in a smoother, brighter complexion. It typically contains a combination of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), such as glycolic acid or lactic acid, along with other beneficial ingredients like antioxidants and peptides.

During the treatment, a licensed skincare professional applies the peel solution onto the face or other targeted areas. The solution is left on the skin for a short period, typically a few minutes, before being neutralized and removed. This process triggers the shedding of dead skin cells, promoting cellular turnover and revealing fresher, healthier skin underneath.

The Stimulator Peel is often referred to as a "Lunchtime Peel" because it can be done quickly, usually within 30 minutes or less, and has minimal downtime. While some individuals may experience mild redness or peeling immediately following the treatment, these effects are generally temporary and can be easily managed with appropriate skincare.

WHAT IS VIRTUE RF?

Virtue RF treatment is a cutting-edge cosmetic procedure that combines radiofrequency (RF) technology with microneedling to address various skin concerns and promote skin rejuvenation. RF technology has been widely used in aesthetic treatments to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin.
